The way to make "tahu gejrot" :
1. Enter the sumedang tofu into boiled water that has prepared and give 1 teaspoon salt, leave for 20 minutes.
2. After that, fry the tofu until ripe, then lift and cut them into small pieces.
3. Mix water, brown sugar, sweet soy sauce, salty soy sauce, tamarind water, and salt, then cook until boiling.
4. After boiling, let it cold and mix sauce with spices that have ground into rude.
5. Last, enter the pieces of tofu on the plate then pour the sauce and finally ready to serve.

The trader of "tahu gejrot" is very easy to be found, especially in around the city of Cirebon and also some other areas in Indonesia, because including snack that pretty popular. This "tahu gejrot" made of sumedang tofus that have fried then cut into small pieces, put on small plate and serve with sauce that it's spices are chili, garlic, red onion and sugar. The way to eat it also unique specifically the use a small stick, then stab the part of tofu that has cut into small piaces before.

- 3 tablespoons tamarind water
- 60 ml sweet soy sauce
