"Nagasari" Cake

"Nagasari" cake is typical food from area in Indonesia especially Indramayu. I am sure, all of you are familiar hear this food's name because it is right that many "nagasari' sell in almost all of area in Indonesia. This food made of flour, rice, sugar, coconut milk, milk, don't forget plantains, this cake is usually wrapped by bananas leaves and in it included pandanus leaves then steam until mature. "Nagasari" also can find in the big events like marriage and circumcision.
"Nagasari" recipe
The ingredients :
Rice flour about 300 gram
Sugar about 75 gram
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Coconut milk of one coconut 750 cc
2 sheets of pandanus leaves
15 plantains are quite old, oblique cut size 4 cm. Then you split into two.
Bananas leaves size 15 x 20 cm
Liquid milk according your taste.
How to make "nagasari"
1. Mix rice flour, pandanus leaves, sugar, salt, milk, and coconut milk. Then stir until evenly.
2. Mix flour above, simmer on the enough fire with stir until become thick porridge, then take away.
3. Enter 2-3 tablespoons into a sheet of bananas leaves. Take a pieces of bananas and enter into the middle of the dough. Fold both the left and right to the middle, then fold again both its tips to the middle each rests. So, its size about 5x7 cm.
4. Enter it in cormorant that its water has boiled, then steam for 30 minutes until the dough harden and mature.
5. Then take away and serve after it is cold.
