Perkedel Udang
In general, "perkedel" made of fried potato or potato that boiled before crushed then mixed with its seasonings. But, it is very different with this one, "perkedel" that I will tell you now is made of shrimp. Maybe, this food is still foreign for you, but in my area it is not foreign especially in Sambas, The materials to make this food is very easy to find and is very simple but it has good taste and is very delicious to eat with cooked rice. It can eaten as side dish or eaten directly as a snack.
The materials and its seasoning :
1. Shrimp 1/2 kg
2. 2 pieces of red onion
3. 1/2 tablespoon of salt
4. 1 a half old coconut
5. 500ml cooking oil to fry.
6. Other flavorings
How to make :
1. The shrimps peeled and clean it.
2. The coconut grated smootly and the red onion sliced with thin.
3. The shrimps, grated coconut, red onion, salt, and other flavorings pounded finely.
4. The dough formed that have been mixed with seasoning into flat roundnesses or form "perkedel" until exhausted.
5. Heat the cooking oil. If the cooking oil is hot, fry "perkedel" until its color change tawny. Keep and turned in order to be spread evenly. Then take away.
