Petai is known to smell bad. However, for some people the petai is very tempting. Moreover, when combined with the sauce, hmmm will definitely increase appetite. Not surprisingly, although it smelled a little sting, petai still popular and often served in a variety of foods.

Sambal Petai can actually be found anywhere, but you will be very easy to meet him at a restaurant in Indonesia. Try just visit the restaurant Sunda, chances are you'll find this dish in the main menu list their food. Sambal Petai is usually served with rice warm, spiced, fish / chicken grilled, or fried. Sometimes , petai itself is presented in a raw state as fresh vegetables, of course, with a serving of chili to taste more delicious.

Materials:
• Petai 2 boards
• Red chili curly 20 seeds
• Onion 5 eggs
• 3 cloves garlic
• Tomato 1 piece
• Sliced ​​brown sugar 1 ½ teaspoon
• Paste 1 ½ teaspoon
• 1 ½ teaspoon salt
• Oil for frying 4 tablespoons

How to Make Sambal Petai:
• Puree / pestle onion, garlic, tomatoes, chili, shrimp paste, brown sugar, and salt.
• If you have a smooth heat the oil, then fry until fragrant.
• Put all petai, mix with the sauce and fry until wilted petai.
• Lift. Put it in a place and ready to be served.

Sometimes, there are people who like a petai if the smell is not too piercing. If you are among those people, try to boil or fry the petai longer over low heat. Long cooking process can reduce the strength of the petai scent. 
Sambal Petai will feel more savory and rich flavor when combined with shrimp or anchovies. Way, simply fried shrimp / anchovy until half cooked, then insert it into the sauce together with when you enter a petai.
Cook on low heat so that the flavor of the shrimp / anchovies are mixed with sauces.
