"Lupis" is typical food from Indonesia especially Java area. "Lupis" is sweet cake made of glutinous rice that given grated coconut topping then given palm sugar solution on it. It usually eaten at breakfast or to accompany tea in the afternoon. On this opportunity, I will tell how to make it and recipe needed to make this sweet cake.
The materials to make "kue lupis" :
300 gram glutinous rice, soak for one hour, then drain it
Coconut a half old : 1/2 grain, grate rudely
Pandanus leaves : 2 sheet
Betel limewater : 1/2 tablespoon
Banana leaves and bamboo rope to tie and wrap
Salt :1/4 teaspoon
Its sauce :
Water : 250 ml
Palm sugar : 400 gram, be combed smoothly
Pandanus leaves : 2 sheet
How to make "kue lupis" :
1. The first, enter the betel limewater into glutinous rice, stir evenly, prepare 1 sheet bananas leaves, then form some cones and enter into sticky rice.
2. Then, twirl one strand leaf to cover the cone and seal with other strands, then, tie with bamboo rope.
3. In time for 5 hours, boil in boiling water until mature.
4. Then, for its sauce, boil the water, pandanus leaves, and palm sugar until become lumpy, take away and filter it.
5. Grated coconut, salt, and pandanus leaves steamed for 1/4 hour. Then, overthrow "lupis" on the coconut.
6. Ready to served with sauce of palm sugar.

We are Agustiawan and Cici Afriani. We are Tanjungpura University students. We are from Selakau, Kabupaten Sambas, Kalimantan Barat. I am Agustiawan, I was born in Selakau, August 31, 1995. My hobbies are dancing, singing, cooking, writing, and reading poetry. I live in Jl. Tanjung Raya 2, Cendana Indah C23. Then, my friend is Cici Afriani, she was born in Selakau, March 16, 1996. Her hobbies are listening to the music, swimming, reading and singing. She live in Jl. Siaga, Gg. Siaga Jaya Number B7. Well, the end of ourselves introduction.
