Karedok


                Karedok is one kind of typical food Sundanese especially Bandung, West Java. This is a kind of traditional food Pecal using vegetables as the main ingredient such as mustard greens, sprouts, beans, cucumber and others. The vegetables are then watered with peanut sauce savory and delicious. It was indeed similar to Pecal, but no difference. How to make karedok not much different from making Pecal, you can make it yourself at home. Are you curious?

Recipes Karedok
The materials used
1.      Long beans as much as 5 stalk, cut into small 1/2 cm
2.      3 pieces of cabbage, sliced
3.      sprouts 50 grams
4.      1 piece of cucumber, cut into thin strips
5.      2 sheets mustard, thinly sliced

Peanut Sauce ingredients Karedok
1.      peanuts 100 grams, fried and puree
2.      2 cloves garlic
3.      chili 2 pieces
4.      kencur 2 cm
5.      1/2 teaspoon shrimp paste
6.      25 grams of brown sugar
7.      3/4 teaspoon salt
8.      100 ml water
9.      1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

How to Make Karedok
First, crushed chili, garlic, kencur and shrimp paste until completely smooth.
Add peanuts, brown sugar and salt and blend again until smooth.
Grind continues and he added a little water. then add the lemon juice.
Add the cabbage, long beans, mustard greens, cucumber, and sprouts.
Stir until ingredients are well blended with herbs.
Prepare a serving dish and Karedok ready to be served.

 To be more delicious you could take this karedok coupled with crackers and fried onions. There are also other variations on traditional foods by adding this karedok melinjo crackers. But that is only optional, you can add it or not even you can add other ingredients to taste each one. Hopefully this recipe Karedok be useful for you.

We are Agustiawan and Cici Afriani. We are Tanjungpura University students. We are from Selakau, Kabupaten Sambas, Kalimantan Barat. I am Agustiawan, I was born in Selakau, August 31, 1995. My hobbies are dancing, singing, cooking, writing, and reading poetry. I live in Jl. Tanjung Raya 2, Cendana Indah C23. Then, my friend is Cici Afriani, she was born in Selakau, March 16, 1996. Her hobbies are listening to the music, swimming, reading and singing. She live in Jl. Siaga, Gg. Siaga Jaya Number B7. Well, the end of ourselves introduction.
